Te Paki sand dunes are the largest in the country. They seem to be out of place, in the middle of nowhere, barely close to the ocean. But they are stunningly beautiful, and fun to walk up and slide down.

It’s hard to capture the sheer size of the dunes on camera. It took us ~30 minutes to walk up to the very top.
