We knew we’d need some time after arrival to get set up for the journey ahead. We settled on an Airbnb that was cheap and close to the airport. Luckily, it was also the home of one of the kindest, coolest people we have ever met: Fritha!

Fritha’s outstanding hospitality and friendliness left us in awe. In fact, we have stayed in touch as friends, and now visit her whenever possible. She even invited us for Christmas! We made Jansson’s Temptation with salad and smoked salmon.

Staying with Fritha was a wholesome, beautiful experience. Her house is a work of art. There are brilliant paintings and cool things all over, not to mention the adorable kitty Strawberry. I’m certain we will cherish her friendship for years to come. We miss you Fritha!
